Most everyone has to manage with sinus problems. Every now and again it may be set off by other health troubles like the common cold or just because of the weather change. With it you may experience a stuffy head, runny nose, watery eyes, and headaches that seem to keep you from having the ability to do anything. Fortunately there are many things that you will be able to do to care for it.
Sleep
The first thing you should do is to sleep. I realize that you have lots of homework to do or a task at work that is about to come due. Yet, you are not going to be any good to them or to your family if you can’t think enough to do them. Go to bed a bit earlier and endeavor to take a couple of days off to rest. Sleep will boost the immune system.
Eat Soup
What better thing will help and may make you feel a little bit better other than soup? It is twice as better if your grandmother can make it! Be sure to eat it when it is hot. The heat can help to clear your sinuses, if only a little, and will soothe your tender throat.
Steam
Steam is a good way to try to lighten any congestion that you can have inside of your chest and to lighten the pressure round your sinuses. Boil up some water and put a towel over your head when sitting over the bowl. If this is tricky to do than merely buy a humidifier.
Sinus Irrigation
To help clean out the nasal passages you will need to buy an irrigation system. This is the best way to treat sinuses. Just follow the instructions and try to do this each day or until you are feeling better.
