How difficult can it be for us to address warts? For some of us it is an easy repair of waiting and applying some cream. The majority of us have to delay longer and seek more drastic treatments that will serve to get the job done rapidly and hopefully painlessly. One of the more unique treatments is the wart duct tape treatment.
This treatment was studied by Dr. Dean Focht who reported his findings in the Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. According to the good doctor and others who have used and recommended this treatment to others this is one of the most effective treatments.
All you have to do is to apply the duct tape onto the wart and keep it there for six days before removing it. After you remove the tape soak the wart and pare it down with an emery board. Afterwards you will need to apply salicylic acid wart remover - which is an over the counter medicine. It is best to apply this to the wart right before you go to bed.
Wait a whole minute to allow it to dry and then place more duct tape over the wart. The next morning you can remove the tape. The duct tape is used to remove the dead skin from the wart each time that it is removed. You will need to apply the duct tape every night until it is completely gone.
