Benefits Of Drinking Green Tea

How much caffeine, sugar, and fat are you consuming a day just so you can stay awake? A few months ago I would drink one to two Mountain Dews a day and a couple of energy drinks. That was until I realized how I was mistreating my body.

But how many of us really do this? One of the worst things that we could do to ourselves is drink the wrong thing every morning. In order to stay awake throughout the day we rely on coffee and sodas to give us that jolt of energy. But are these things really healthy for us? It is true that they can give us energy - but what health benefits do they offer?

Coffee has been known to have very few health benefits that do not always make a big difference in our lives. Soda is one of the worst things you could drink because of all the caffeine, sugar, and fat that it contains. Why not replace this with a healthy alternative - green tea.

Green tea has been studied for years and many health experts believe that not while it does contain a certain amount of caffeine it is able to offer us health benefits far outweighing those of soda and coffee.

The health benefits of green tea are believed to help prevent and fight cancer, high cholesterol, rheumatoid arthritis, infections, cardiovascular disease, and impaired immune function.
