How Are You To Remove Skin Moles

Some say that the most beautiful things in the world are some of the most useless. With that in mind many of us ignore the moles that are on us. The majority of people are all born with at least one mole somewhere on their bodies. But the news lately tells us this is a bad idea - because moles are considered to be unhealthy.

That is why many of them will consider the different ways to removing skin moles easily and effectively. There are several methods that can be used. Some of them are more effective than others and are more expensive.

Simple Surgery

The most common method that is chosen to get rid of skin moles is a simple surgery procedure that is quick and painless. The doctor will numb the mole and the area that surrounds it before cutting or shaving it off using a scalpel. Once the mole is completely removed the doctor will stitch the wound closed. There may be minor scarring.

Electrosurgery

During this procedure the doctor will use a scalpel to remove the mole – but afterwards they will use an electric needle to destroy the tissue deep below the mole. This is to make sure that the mole is completely gone and will not be able to grow back. No stitches are required for this procedure though there may still be some scarring.

Laser Surgery

Laser surgery is actually performed by a dermatologist who will numb the area that surrounds the mole before destroying the nevus tissue. There is very little damage to the skin tissue during this procedure. However, it will take 1-2 weeks to heal.

Liquid Nitrogen

If surgery is not an option for you then you can try ‘freezing’ the mole with liquid nitrogen. The liquid nitrogen is applied to the mole and will destroy the cell tissue and remove the mole. This is one of the more painful treatments and will definitely cause scarring. Do not use the nitrogen on the same area more than once a week.
